I bought some cute dorayaki from a bakery shop yesterday. This type of dorayaki is different from what we had before, they are smaller and thicker in size, filled with icing cream and jams. Taste is more like a swiss roll cake…hehehe. But…excellent taste, we love to eat these type of dorayaki so much. This is how it look like…after cut into half..like a mini hamburger…hehe.
Can you see the icing cream and blueberry jams?? There are georgeous, great taste!!! The dorayaki texture is just like sponge cake texture, so soft and tender.
Since I have these cute dorayaki, so I also decorated it as a cute CowBoy …hehe. I used the bone and leaf food picks to make the cow horns and ears. Then, used ham, nori and crab meat for the face details.
I felt that the mini dorayaki will not enough for my boy, so I included a hard-boiled egg in the bento too, and changed it to become a CowGirl. Again, i used the leaf picks to make the ears, and a heart pick as the horns. Put in a red ribbon for the CowGirl too. The the egg was decorated with nori and ham to become a black and white CowGirl.
