Oh no…is Monday again…time flies super fast, one week school holiday was finished, got to go back to school again..erghhh…back to my busy life again. So lazy to move on after the breaks. 😦
I have to make something ‘sweet’ and ‘happy’ for my son, to give him some “power” to start his day, because he is also lazy after the breaks. Therefore, I made this candy bento for him so that we both can start our Monday in sweet and happy mood. 🙂 This was inspired by the candy from Cuteobento by Maki. Thanks to Maki, She always have creative and super wonderful idea on bento making.
I made a peanut butter sandwich which my son love to eat a lot. Normally he will asked to put a thick layer of the peanut butter. On the top of the sanwich, I use an oval shape cutter and a heart shape cutter to cut out two candies from cheese and ham. Overlapping them together and one candy with ham on the top while the other was cheese on the top. Then using a straw to cut some small polka dots from ham and cheese for the candies.
Other than the cheese and ham candies, there are some seedless red grapes, tempura chicken nuggets and two cherry tomatoes which I made them as balloons. This will give some ‘party feel’ to the bento. When there is a party, sure there will be laughing and grinning. Hope this bento will cheer up the day and my son will start the day with happiness. 🙂
Last but not least, wishing everyone have a SWEET MONDAY and happy always. Happy bento-ing too… 🙂
