I saw this cute and spooky cartoon ghost from Internet. It’s catched my eyes because of it’s big smiling mouth with the vampire teeth. It is suitable to make for Halloween themed bento for my son…cute with little bit of spooky…hehe.
Besides that, my son will be having final term exam this whole week. Today is the first day of the exam, I wish to make something that can cheer him up to help him to relief some tension cause by the exam and at the same time…wake him up with the scary bento so that he still can stay alert and ‘fresh’ after the breaks and still have enough ‘power’ to continue his second paper. LOL…
I made a chicken sandwich which layered with lettuce, cheese and chicken patty. On top of the sandwich, I used imitation crab meat and nori to decorate the sandwich as a vampire ghost. The hands were cut from the leftover bread with a small petal cutter. Other than that, I have included two hard-boiled quail eggs and made them as ghost too…two silly ghost…hehehe. I put two baby carrots and black grapes in the box to complete the bento.
By the way, Hapa Bento is organizing October B.O.M.B contest with “Halloween or Harvest” themed. So, I am going to submit all my Halloween themed bentos for the contest…how about you??? 😉 Hurry up, the contest will be ended on October 31, 2010 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Hope that my son will have more ‘power’ to complete his exam today and enjoy the cute but spooky vampire ghost sandwich. Last but not least, “Happy Monday” to all of my bento pals. 🙂
