My mum bought some char siew pao for us yesterday night. My sons love to eat char siew pao, the eldest can even eat two when he is hungry. I steamed one of it for today’s bento and decorated it to a cute pink ears bunny.
There are another three more weeks to enter into the Year of Rabbit, and that’s mean we are going to celebrate Chinese New Year very soon…LOL…can’t wait for that to come. Some of the bento friends already started to make their Year of Rabbit theme bentos…I would want to join the group too. Rabbits are very simple to make…so stay tune for more upcoming rabbits theme bento…hehehe.
Alright, back to today’s bento…hehe…I decorated the pao with white and pink mashmallow and nori. Bunny whiskers were raw spaghetti stripes. The two large teeth were cut from chicken ball and pinned to the pao with the raw spaghetti stripes. Hope my son like this pau bunny with mashmallow…hehe.
There are some plum slices and blueberry in the bento too.
Happy Monday and wish all have a great and wonderful week ahead!!
