Valentine’s Day is coming very very soon…I am sure many couples are thinking and searching of Valentine’s gift for their loved ones. This is the headache job for me to find a suitable git for my husband too…hehe. But, there are two common gifts which most of the guy will give to the girl…a gift and a bouquet of roses. 🙂
Today’s bento will be about these two things, a gift and a bouquet of roses. I used yellow color rice seasoning mix to color the rice into yellow and made it as a gift box with the pink color egg sheet ribbon. Then, I made a bear from a quail egg and decorated it with nori for the facial details. But..I feel like this bear look more like a piggy..heheh..How about you? 😉
After that, I used some sausage stripes to make six roses and included some lettuce to make a bouquet of roses with two heart shape balloons (food picks).
Other goodies in the bento are chicken nuggets, heart shape prawn sausage, broccoli, pink flower made of egg sheet and grapes.
Do you spotted a diamond ring in the box too?? Yah…a diamond ring is hidden in the middle of the grapes…hehehe…but not a real diamond…it is just a sticker food pick, just to give some “sparkeling light” to the bento. 🙂

I made this caring bear bento for my son this morning. The bear was make from some white rice. I used the cling wrap to mold the rice into the shapes that I want, then joined them together to form the caring bear. After that, using nori for the ears and the face details. The red heart at the bear’s chest was cut out from a piece of red color artificial crab stick. I cut some boiled carrot stars to decorate the box and included two cherry tomatoes too.
This caring bear already occupied the whole bento box. Therefore, I put the mushroom chicken and black grapes in another bento box.
Hope my boy will enjoy his cute caring bear so much. 🙂

I just celebrated my birthday yesterday, and today is another SPECIAL day for my hubby and I, our 8th wedding anniversary. So, another celebration again…wohaha.
This month is full of joy and celebration, we are so busy to ‘enjoy’ and celebrate the events and holidays. From the beginning of the month, we have school holidays, my youngest’s son birthday, Hari Raya Puasa, then my birthday and wedding anniversary. Tomorrow is Malaysia Day and Mooncake festival will be next week…LOL…can’t stop laughing and eating. 🙂
To celebrate this special day with my hubby, I made this bento for my son..haha..not for him, as he is oversea now, just to dedicate my love to him..LOL. The bento is made according to the following chocolate bar wrapping paper which presented by my hubby.
I made a simple sandwich with fried egg and butterhead letture. My son like to eat fried egg with bread. The two hearts and the red color words are made from artificial crab meat. I used the red color part only. Then I put in two food picks to attach the two heart together just as the picture shown on the wrapping paper.
Other than that, I made two heart shape sausage and used a heart food picks to join the sausage together. There are some black grapes in the box too.
Last but not least, a note to my hubby:
“Happy 8th Wedding Anniversary and I love you always. Our heart will always like the bento…heart to heart, regardless of any situation or distance. ”
