October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are different type of events been organized and even there is a pink bento theme event organized by BentoBlog in our bento world here. Hope that this event will raises awareness and educational activities to increase our community’s knowledge about being breast aware. Therefore, I made this pink ribbon angel bento this morning and hope that this angel has a strongest power to bring magic on earth to protect all women around the world from this common form of cancer.
I used two fish balls to make the head and body of the angel. Then, used a star food pick to hold the two fish ball together, and decorated the face detials with nori and pink marshmallow. I cut a tiny stripe of ham and make it as the pink bibbon and pinned it at the angel’s body. Finally, put in the wings food pick as the angel’s wings. The rice was slighly plain in view, so, I put some black sesame seeds on it and put in a pink bibbon to decorate the rice too. Yay…all with pink ribbon…pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. 🙂
Besides the rice and the pink ribbon angel, the bento also has some broccoli, four pieces of crispy fried seafood taufu and some fresh blackcurrents.
The following are some information about breast cancer in Malaysia, hope that with this information will raises awareness and educational activities among us in Malaysia.
