爱。开心便当のBible Camp Snack Bento

My eldest son is attending the Bible Camp for children at our church this morning.    This camp is to allow children to have more knowledge in Bible reading.  I think this is a very good opportunity for my son to join and learn more from the Bible, so I registered him for the camp one month ago. Since then, he is excited about it and looking forward to this camp everyday. 🙂

They will provide food for the children, but my son still wanted me to prepare him a bento in case he don’t like to eat the food provided.  Therefore, I just gave him a snack bento which consist of ham and cheese French toast, apple and some dried prunes.

To be in line with the Bible Camp theme, i made the French toast as a Bible with the chocolate wording on the top and a tiny stripe of nori at the side.  I used a small star cutter to cut out some star shape on the apple surface to make it as a camping tent…hehe..although they are not going to stay at the tent.  I put the smiling 3D boy and girl food picks on the prunes to represent the children is happy for attending the camp.

Hope my son will enjoy himself at the camp and happy with the snack bento I have prepared for him. 🙂

Update: I have linked this post at What’s for Lunch Wednesday, Week 15 at Shannon’s blog.

Bible camp is fun! I remembered I went to one yonks ago! hahaha

Nice bento and I love the word Bible which is so nicely done! Did you do it free-hand?? I could never do any lettering without using a cutter!

I love it! My kids had VBS at our church in June, but they only did snacks there and we came home for lunch. They would both love this snack!
